At home in Dubai.
Curious about everywhere.

I've lived in Dubai almost since birth, watching a medium-sized town grow into a global city. If that taught me anything, it's that the tenacious eventually find a way.

I work at Nomod, helping businesses get paid. Previously, I founded JadoPado, an e-commerce marketplace acquired by Noon in May 2017.

I've also spent time working at Esanjo, a family office.

Writing things down

I've written about startups, payments, marketplaces and the occasional deep dive into how a company works. Some of it is research; some is a record of building things from the inside.

The archive brings together earlier personal writing and articles from the JadoPado and Esanjo blogs, including contributions by other people. Original authors are credited where the surviving records establish them.
