A simple, static website
This site has no accounts, comment forms or analytics scripts. Your light or dark theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage. Site search runs in your browser, using an index served by this website.
Archived content
Historical discussions, where available, are preserved as read-only snapshots from Disqus. Display names, comment text and original dates form part of that public record. Email addresses and IP addresses from comment exports are excluded. This site does not load the Disqus commenting widget.
Public profile pictures are cached and served by this website. Pictures may be newer than the archived discussion; Omar’s comments use his current site portrait. Viewing a comment does not request an avatar from Disqus or a social network.
Hosting and embedded media
The services that deliver this website may process connection information, including IP addresses, to serve and protect it. Some older posts include embedded video or other media. Those services may receive information when their content loads; external links are governed by the destination’s own practices.
